At The Egotist we love ignorance. It was ignorance that led us into running the site. Ignorance that led us to interview the people we have. Ignorance to try to help enlighten our fair city. So it's a great pleasure to see that Des Moines' greatest startup success-story also believes in the power of ignorance. June's AMA luncheon looks like another great one.

Lampe’s presentation to AMA Iowa luncheon attendees will also outline Dwolla’s marketing strategies, as well as give area marketing professionals and students a behind-the-scenes look at Dwolla. Key takeaways from the presentation will include: Why having a culture that promotes failure is so important; why, if you're not involved in the product, you're doing it wrong; and the importance of scaling your message.

Bryan McCarty, Jason Fliehler, and Eric Scrivner went down to Knoxville to spend some quality time with the Peachtree Crew. The three of them are old colleagues from Mudd Advertising in Cedar Falls who still get together to do fun projects: like this.

"A few months back we went down to Peace Tree Brewing Co. and made a video. We've got another one on the way which includes interviews, but the first one is done and it just got posted yesterday."

After seeing this video, we absolutely look forward to watching the next one. These guys have some solid filming and editing skills.

A whole bunch of 15 second spots. Does this make us look different from any other city? Does it make you want to live in your own city? We don't think so.
