• Now THIS is How You Promote A Mud Run

The Gladiator Assault team saw our thoughts on the Iowa Mud Run and asked us to check out their site. We have to say it's an impressive effort. The site, and video below, feel hardcore. Our bodies started to ache thinking about completing this challenge. And the man on fire next to the FAQ is a fantastic touch.

If you're into this sort of thing, their next event is in Boone on May 19th. You can register here then spend the rest of the week preparing for a world of hurt.

  • A Message To All Our New Graduates

    / Comments (0)

We're looking to highlight a few ad/design folks who are graduating this month. That includes any graduates in Iowa and we'll even consider Nebraskans. All you need to do is send over a few samples of your work and a little about yourselves.

This can be a good way to get your name out if you're currently looking for a job. Or, you might just want to show off your creative genius. If this sounds like your thing, shoot us an email.

  • Watch @87central work. In Technicolor!

With 8/7 Central's new space they've also let people inside the shop to watch them work all day long. Not actually, because the space would get a little crowded, but virtually. Stop by their website and you can see the magic happen with your own two eyes.

Does the camera look askew to anyone else?

  • Hit This: AAF May Luncheon - "Evolution of the NASCAR Brand"

    / Comments (0)

Coming up on May 17th is another great AAF luncheon. We're sure it'll be good even if you're not a fan of cars going in circles.

Once considered a sport for car junkies and gearheads, NASCAR has gained mainstream popularity. And with that popularity comes millions of middle and upper class fans with disposable income and loyalty. From a national brand to individual drivers to sponsorship dollars, NASCAR touches them all.

Join us for our May luncheon as a Jim Cassidy, managing director of racing operations, shows us how they transformed the brand and adopted new marketing methods to create brand loyalists and enthusiasts.

RSVP's are due by noon Monday, May 14. Cancellations received by the Monday prior to the luncheon will receive a full refund. No shows will be invoiced for the amount of the luncheon. Each attendee will receive an authentic 1/24th diecast car and a chance to receive FREE TICKETS to the NASCAR K&N race on May 21 and the NASCAR Nationwide Series race on May 22.

We ran across this powerful bit of film from the University of Iowa. Definitely made us think about the kind of work we're putting out every day.
