On Wednesday, August 3, Des Moines-area marketing professionals will gather to hear Coach USA VP of Marketing Mike Alvich tell how his company built a brand from the ground up. The brand he’ll be discussing is megabus.com, an online extension of Coach USA that is, according to the company, revolutionizing the bus industry and changing the perception of bus travel in North America.
Attendees will learn how megabus.com has utilized an integrated marketing and public relations program, including media relations, advertising, street teams and social media, to create what Businessweek called the “Megabus Effect.”
