The Chamomile Tea Party's new propaganda
Tired of the disunity in American political discourse, designer Jeff Gates began remixing World War II-era posters in 2010.
The Chamomile Tea Party was formed in 2010 to work towards a more effective dialogue about the future of America. Congress has become paralyzed by partisan politics. There has been so much rhetoric it has become almost impossible to get any important legislation passed. And Americans are suffering. We are no longer interested, nor can we support "politics as usual."
Now he's got dozens of old-meets-new words of wisdom, and he's sharing them freely.
Gates scored a show of his posters, too: this October, the Curator's Office in Washington, D.C. is hosting a collection. They're also gracing the DC Metro system as full-sized backlit ads.
All of his posters are available to download for free -- so spiff up the office with a few this election season.
